MADE Architecture Centre, Birmingham
Khoury Architects designed and supervised the interior refurbishment of the MADE premises to provide a visually stunning and functionally flexible space for training events and exhibitions.
MADE is a charity organisation dedicated to improving the quality of our towns, cities and villages. MADE promotes the idea that high quality built environments are essential for economic prosperity and well-being. With this in mind it was essential that Khoury Architects deliver an exciting and high quality design that expressed the importance MADE places on environmental experience.

The new 65 seat lecture space enables MADE to run a series of learning events, as well as hosting CPD events for other organisations. Incorporated into the structure are facilities to hang display boards, enabling the space to be used for small exhibitions. The interior design reflects the brand of this high profile architecture centre throughout with bold colour ways and minimalist storage solutions.

Adjacent to the lecture room there is 2500sqft of open plan office space for staff members. The lecture room purposely encloses and defines the office accommodation. Whilst large sliding doors enable the space to open out into one large function space.
